Frustrating intersection for Stanford bikers

Many, many people bike through this intersection every day to get between the Caltrain and Stanford. Despite great bike infrastructure at Stanford, immediately after exiting Stanford campus it becomes unclear where bikes should go. Improved signage, and ideally a wider sidewalk, would make it clearer that bikes are expected to ride on the sidewalk here.
